Established in 2019 by Colin Simmons RIBA ARB CA, a Chartered Architect and RIBA Conservation Architect with twenty years’ post-qualification experience in the prime and super-prime residential sector, Simmons Architects Ltd bring the same commitment to quality, detail and craftsmanship whether a project is classical or contemporary in character. After working at leading UK and international architectural practices, culminating in his role as Head of Architecture at a major London design studio, Colin now leads his own practice delivering high-quality work across the UK and overseas, focusing on high-end bespoke residential projects and heritage sites, including Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas.

Simmons Architects’ work spans new country houses, Listed Building restoration, estate-wide masterplanning, and the sensitive repair, extension and adaptation of historic rural properties, having delivered multiple high-value projects—typically between £1m and £15m—from concept through to completion, ensuring exceptional quality, craftsmanship and client service at every stage.

Now operating from near Stamford, Lincolnshire, Simmons Architects Ltd, is a practice built on the depth and rigour of big-practice experience combined with the responsiveness, attention, and cost-efficiency of a local boutique studio.
